We have an exciting new opening for a full-time Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year with a fantastic district serving students in Lake County, IL.

This is a full-time, onsite role leading a self-contained classroom supporting students with autism. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction, implement IEPs, and collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success. Responsibilities include creating an inclusive learning environment, utilizing differentiated teaching strategies, and advocating for students' academic, social, and behavioral growth.

Location: In-person (no hybrid or remote options)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours

Grade Level: Various, K-12

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with special education endorsement.
• Experience supporting students with autism in a school-based setting.
