We're hiring a Special Education Teacher in Cook County, IL for a full-time K–5 Inclusion Classroom position during the 2025–2026 school year.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support students with IEPs in an inclusive classroom setting, working collaboratively with general education teachers to deliver differentiated instruction that meets the needs of all learners. You'll play a key role in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment while ensuring compliance with IEP goals and documentation.

Position Details:

End Date: May 29, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Grade Level: K–5 (Inclusion)
Hours: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to K–5 students with IEPs in an inclusion setting.

• Collaborate closely with general education teachers to co-plan and co-teach lessons.

• Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet diverse learner needs.

• Collect data, monitor student progress, and adjust instruction as needed.

• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with all required documentation.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement.

• Experience in inclusive or co-teaching environments preferred.

• Strong skills in collaboration, differentiation, and classroom management.

• Passion for inclusive education and student advocacy.
