We're partnering with an exceptional school district in Plymouth County, searching for a High School Special Education Teacher - Inclusion Classroom o join a fantastic focused academic team.

In this role, you’ll provide individualized instruction for a High School classroom with disabilities, fostering growth in learning, communication, and social-emotional development. You’ll collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to implement IEPs and create an inclusive, nurturing environment.

Position Details:

• Location: In-person in Plymouth County, MA (no hybrid or remote opportunities available)
• Expected Start Date: January 2026
• Expected End Date: June 2026
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week
• Grade Levels & Caseload: High School - Inclusion Classroom 18 total students (11 identified for inclusion support)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals to support early learning, communication, and social-emotional development in preschool-aged children.

• Differentiate lessons and materials and implement positive behavior supports to meet diverse developmental and behavioral needs and promote engagement.

• Serve as case manager for assigned students, coordinating IEP meetings, collaborating with service providers, and ensuring compliance with timelines and documentation.

• Communicate regularly with families to share progress, discuss goals, and provide strategies for continued growth at home.

• Monitor and document progress toward IEP goals while creating a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that fosters independence, confidence, and a love of learning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Primary/Secondary Education.

• Professional teaching license with a Special Education endorsement from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).

• Experience supporting students with disabilities in an academic or classroom-based setting. Familiarity with play-based pedagogical strategies, including Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessments.
