We're currently searching for multiple dedicated and passionate Special Education Paraprofessionals to join a dynamic school team in Lake County, IL. These are full-time, in-person roles starting in March of 2025 and continuing through the remainder of the school year.

Job Details:

• Location: In-person (no virtual or hybrid options)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 35
• Grade Levels: Various, elementary through high school

Key Responsibilities:

• Support emotional regulation and behavior management using coping strategies.
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and track student progress.
• Assist with social skills development, including communication and conflict resolution.
• Provide one-on-one support during classroom activities and transitions.
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure consistent student support.
• Create a safe and supportive environment for students to express themselves.

Qualifications:

• A valid Educator License with Stipulations (ELS) for Paraprofessionals in the state of Illinois, OR
• An Illinois Substitute Teacher license in addition to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
