Onward Search is partnering with a school district in Franklin County, Massachusetts to hire Special Education Teachers for the 2025–2026 school year.
Location: Franklin County, MA
Start Date: August 29, 2025
End Date: June 16, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday (specific hours based on school assignment)
Grade Level: Openings across K–12
Hours: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students with moderate or severe disabilities, following IEPs and tailored learning plans.
- Develop and implement effective classroom management strategies to support all learners.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and parents to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including IEP goals, assessments, and progress reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team collaboration sessions.
- Adapt and modify curriculum to meet diverse learning needs.
- Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts DESE license in Moderate Disabilities (PreK–8 or 5–12) or Severe Disabilities, OR ESL Certification
- Experience working with a diverse range of learners.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
