We’re seeking a School Nurse (RN or LPN) for a 5-week Extended School Year (ESY) assignment in Essex County, MA.

This is a part-time, contract opportunity running from July 7 to August 7, 2025, with a Monday–Thursday schedule serving approximately 30 students in grades PreK–12.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support student health and wellness in a focused ESY setting. The role offers meaningful impact in a supportive environment, with a dedicated team and manageable caseload.

If applying as an RN, DESE School Nurse licensure is required.

Position Details:

• Location: Essex County, MA

• Dates: July 7, 2025 – August 7, 2025

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday

• Hours: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

• Grade Level: PreK–12 (approx. 30 students)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing services, including medication administration and first aid.

• Monitor and manage student health needs during program hours.

• Maintain communication with school staff and families regarding health concerns.

• Support a safe and healthy learning environment for all students.

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts RN or LPN license required.

• If applying as an RN, DESE School Nurse licensure is required.

• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.

• Comfortable working independently and managing the care of multiple students.
