Fluency in Spanish and a bilingual endorsement in Spanish are required for this position.

Position Details: Title: Bilingual Science Teacher Grade Level: 7th Grade Location: Berwyn, Illinois Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:10 AM – 3:10 PM Contract Dates: August 18, 2025 – May 29, 2026 Language Requirement: Fluent in Spanish

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.

• Monitor and assess student progress to inform instructional planning.

• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student achievement.

• Participate in school-wide meetings, professional development, and planning sessions.

Qualifications:

• Professional Educator License issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree preferred.

• Valid Middle School endorsement in Science.

• Bilingual endorsement in Spanish (required).

• Fluent Spanish speaker.
