We're partnering with a student-centered school district in Boulder County, CO, to find a High School Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support high school students with moderate to severe disabilities in a structured and inclusive learning environment. You’ll work closely with families and support staff to implement IEPs and help students gain essential academic, social, and life skills.

Position Details:

• Location: In-person (hybrid and remote options not available).

• Start Date: August 2025.

• End Date: May 2026.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, full school day schedule.

• Guaranteed Hours: 7.5 hours daily, 37.5 hours weekly.

• Grade Levels: High School, 9-12.

• Caseload: 7-10 students.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and create an inclusive learning environment for high school-aged students with a variety of moderate to severe disabilities.

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with families, support staff, and related service providers.

• Adapt instructional materials and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs across academic, social, and behavioral domains.

• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes student independence, engagement, and positive peer interactions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to support individualized education plan goals and drive student success outcomes.

• Maintain accurate documentation and clear communication regarding student progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Primary/Secondary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.

• Teaching license from the Colorado Department of Education with Special Education endorsement.

• Experience supporting students with disabilities in an academic or classroom-based setting, high school-based experience preferred.
