We are currently hiring a School Counselor in Middlesex County, CT, for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time role supports students in Grades 4–5 at an intermediate school, offering a meaningful opportunity to provide social-emotional, academic, and behavioral support during a key stage of development.

Position Details:

Location: Middlesex County, CT
Grade Levels: 4th–5th grade (intermediate school)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, full school day
Contract Dates: September 2025 – June 2026

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.

• Assist students in developing coping skills, self-regulation strategies, and problem-solving abilities.

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to meet students’ needs.

• Support school-wide initiatives for positive behavior and student well-being.

• Maintain accurate records and contribute to student support plans.

Qualifications:

• Connecticut School Counselor Certification (071) required.

• Experience with elementary/intermediate grade students strongly preferred.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
