We're partnering with an exceptional school district in the greater Boston, MA area, in Middlesex County, searching for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary school students for the 2025-2026 school year.

In this role, you'll provide individualized instruction for students in Kindergarten-3rd grade with mild and moderate disabilities, fostering academic, communication, and social-emotional growth. You'll collaborate with staff and families and create engaging, inclusive learning experiences that foster independence, confidence, and a love of learning.

Position Details:

• Location: In-person in Middlesex County, MA (no hybrid or remote opportunities available)
• Expected Start Date: October 2025
• Expected End Date: June 2026
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 32 hours per week
• Grade Levels: Elementary, students aged K-3

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals, supporting academic growth, communication, and social-emotional development.

• Implement positive behavior supports and proactive strategies to promote self-regulation, cooperation, and classroom engagement.

• Differentiate lessons and materials to meet diverse learning and behavioral needs for young learners with mild and moderate disabilities.

• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to ensure consistent student support.

• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals, adjusting instruction based on data and team input.

• Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that fosters independence, confidence, and a love of learning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Primary/Secondary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.

• Professional teaching license with a Special Education endorsement from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).

• Experience supporting students with disabilities in an academic or classroom-based setting.
