We’re partnering with a school district in Cook County, IL to hire two Elementary School Occupational Therapists for the 2025–2026 school year.

These roles focus on providing essential fine motor and sensory support to elementary students in a collaborative, school-based setting.

Position Details:

• Location: In-person, Cook County, IL

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:20 a.m. – 2:35 p.m.

• Duration: March 4, 2026 – June 5, 2026 and March 30, 2026 – June 5, 2026

• Caseload: 42–50 students

• Grade Level: Elementary

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to support students’ fine motor and sensory processing skills.

• Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.

• Collect and analyze data on student IEP goals and progress.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers, support staff, families, and IEP teams.

• Complete fine motor and sensory profile evaluations and write detailed reports as needed.

Qualifications:

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Occupational Therapist endorsement.

• Experience in a school-based setting preferred.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage multiple student needs and priorities effectively.

• Commitment to supporting student growth and independence.
