We’re partnering with a school district in Weld County, Colorado to hire a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for the 2025–2026 school year. This district-wide, in-person position supports students across multiple school sites from Pre-K through transition age.
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans and support students’ social, emotional, and academic development. The RBT will collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote positive behavioral outcomes and foster an inclusive learning environment. This role is ideal for an RBT passionate about working in schools and helping students achieve meaningful progress through evidence-based practices.

Schedule: Full-time (1.0 FTE), Monday–Friday

Supervision: Requires BCBA oversight (district BCBA or supervision provided)

Responsibilities
-
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA.

Collect and record accurate data on student behaviors and progress toward behavioral goals.

Support students in academic, social, and functional skill development across settings.

Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to ensure consistent implementation of behavioral supports.

Assist in conducting behavior assessments and preparing documentation as needed.

Model positive behavior strategies and reinforcement techniques for school staff.

Participate in team meetings and communicate progress and concerns effectively.
Qualifications
-
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required).
-
Eligible for or holds Colorado RBT certification (required).

Ability to receive and maintain supervision by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) (district-provided or arranged).

Experience working with children or students with autism or behavioral challenges in educational settings preferred.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
