We're partnering with an excellent school district in Boulder County, CO, to find a Special Education Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Special Education Teacher looking for a role working with preschool students. The caseload is 9 to 11 students, and you would be responsible for lesson planning and case managing IEPs.

Position Details:

• Position: Special Education Teacher
• Location: Boulder County, CO
• Expected Start Date: 1/5/2026
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, up to 32 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with moderate needs.
• Provide guidance and consultation to teachers on instructional strategies, accommodations, and interventions for students with special education needs.
• Monitor student progress and offer recommendations to optimize learning outcomes.
• Assist in developing and modifying curriculum to meet the needs of students with moderate disabilities.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations.
• Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development sessions as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of recommendations, observations, and teacher feedback.

Qualifications:

• Must be Spanish/English proficient.
• Must have 2 years classroom experience.
• Hold a valid Colorado teaching license effective through the end of the current school year.
• Must provide a copy of the current license or documentation showing the licensure application is in process.
• Understanding that the district cannot sign a Temporary Teacher Employment (TTE) form.
