We’re partnering with a therapeutic school in Lake County, IL to hire a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a part-time role working 2.5 days or 5 half days (15–20 hours/week) with students in grades K–8.

About the Role:
The BCBA will work closely with non-verbal students and school teams to provide behavior analysis support, design interventions, and facilitate effective team collaboration. The ideal candidate will be confident in pushing back on teams when necessary, advocating for best practices, and communicating clearly with educators, therapists, and families.

Position Details:

• Location: In-person, Lake County, IL

• Schedule: Part-time; 2.5 full days or 5 half days per week (15–20 hours/week)

• School Year: 2025–2026

• Start Date: ASAP – June 3, 2026

Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)

• Provide direct supervision and support for students, including non-verbal learners

• Collaborate and facilitate teams, ensuring effective implementation of behavior strategies

• Advocate for evidence-based practices and provide guidance when team opinions differ

• Track and analyze student data to inform interventions

• Support staff with training and coaching on behavioral strategies

Qualifications:

• BCBA certification required

• Experience working in a school setting

• Experience supporting non-verbal students

• Strong communication and facilitation skills for team collaboration

• Confidence to provide professional feedback and pushback when necessary
