We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled School Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a Elementary school district by providing essential speech and language therapy services. Position Details:

• Position: School Speech-Language Pathologist

• Location: Shelby County, Indiana

• Duration: Now through 5/23/2025

• Schedule: 12-15 hours per week

• Compensation: Starting at $50/HR

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, addressing communication challenges related to articulation, fluency, voice, and language development.

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' speech and language needs and develop individualized intervention plans.

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement strategies that support student success in the classroom and beyond.

• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans, ensuring compliance with Indiana state regulations and federal guidelines.

• Advocate for students by connecting them with community resources and support services to enhance communication skills and academic achievement.

• Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student progress.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

• Indiana Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA).

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred but not required for CF applicants).

• Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) Communication Disorders License for school-based practice.

• Proven experience working with diverse student populations, including those with speech and language disorders and communication challenges.
