We’re partnering with a supportive and welcoming school district in Highland Park, IL, to find a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time, on-site position beginning August 11, 2025, and offers the chance to work with PreK–12 students (final placement will be based on your fit and preferences). You’ll join a team of educators and therapists in a collaborative, student-focused environment where your expertise can truly make a difference. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy services to students.

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

  • Develop and implement therapy plans and IEPs tailored to student needs.

  • Maintain accurate documentation in alignment with district and state requirements.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure consistent student support.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student progress assessments.

  • Offer consultation and guidance to classroom staff on communication strategies and accommodations.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

  • Active Illinois SLP license (or eligibility to obtain).

  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement (or in process).

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) will also be considered.
