Onward Search Education is seeking a School Social Worker for a full-time role in Grundy County, IL. This rewarding opportunity allows you to make a real impact in students' lives while working in a collaborative, student-focused environment. You’ll provide social-emotional support, address behavioral challenges, and partner with educators, administrators, and families to implement intervention strategies that foster student success.

Position Details:

• Position: School Social Worker

• Location: Grundy County, IL

• Duration: August 2025 to May 2026

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, school hours

• Compensation: Starting at $55/hr
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional and counseling services to students

• Collaborate with teachers, school teams, and families to support positive student outcomes

• Conduct assessments and make recommendations for services and accommodations

• Contribute to IEPs and 504 Plans while ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines

• Connect students with local resources to support academic and emotional needs

• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings to support overall student well-being
  

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker Endorsement

• Experience supporting diverse student populations

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
