We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Special Education Paraprofessional to join a dynamic school team in Skagit County for ESY.

Job Details:

• Location: In-person
• Schedule: 9 am-12pm

• June 17, 18, 20
• June 23-26
• June 30-July 3
• August 4-7
• August 11-14

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Support students with special needs in both academic and behavioral tasks within a therapeutic program.
• Collaborate with the lead teacher and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Provide 1:1 support or assist in small group instruction for students with disabilities.
• Help manage classroom behavior and support students in developing social-emotional skills.
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and parents as needed.
• Assist students in developing independence with daily activities and learning routines.

Qualifications:

• Paraeducator Certificate: Issued by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) in Washington State.

• Minimum Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
