We’re currently seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for a full-time position in Lake County for the 2025–2026 school year.

Position Details:

• Location: Lake County, IL

• Schedule: Monday – Friday (school hours)

• Dates: August 2025 – May 2026

• Grade Levels: Early Childhood

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction in a structured early childhood classroom

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students’ unique needs and developmental levels

• Create a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes learning through play, structure, and routine

• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families

• Track student progress and maintain up-to-date documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and parent communications

Qualifications:

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Early Childhood Special Education and LBS1 Endorsement

• Prior experience in early childhood special education strongly preferred

• Bilingual candidates preferred
