We're currently seeking an Adaptive PE Teacher for a unique opportunity with a school district in Montgomery County, Texas for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time role offers flexibility to work virtually as a consultant to the onsite PE teacher or to provide support in person.

This is an exciting opportunity for a certified Adaptive PE Teacher who enjoys collaborating with educators and making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with diverse physical abilities.

Valid Texas Adaptive Physical Education Teacher certification or licensure is required.

Position Details:

• Location: Remote or In-Person (Montgomery County, TX School District)

• Start Date: August 13, 2025

• End Date: End of the 2025–2026 school year

• Schedule: Full-time, virtual consulting role with option for in-person support

• Grade Level: K-12 (consulting primarily with PE Teacher)

• Hours: Typical school hours, Monday–Friday

Responsibilities:

• Provide consultation and support, either virtually or in person, to the onsite PE teacher to adapt physical education programs for students with diverse needs.

• Collaborate with school staff to develop individualized strategies and modifications.

• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to ensure effective implementation of adaptive PE practices.

• Participate in meetings and professional development as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Adaptive Physical Education Teacher certification or licensure required.

• Experience working with adaptive physical education and consulting with educators.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills in both virtual and in-person settings.

• Passion for supporting students with diverse physical abilities.
