We’re currently looking for a Physical Therapist to join an exceptional school district serving students in Thurston and Pierce Counties for the 2025–2026 school year.

This is a meaningful opportunity to support student mobility, independence, and overall physical development within a collaborative and student-centered environment.

Position Details:

• Location: In-person (no virtual or hybrid options)

• Duration: August 2025 – May 2026

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 hours per day / 35 hours per week

• Grade Levels: Various, Preschool–12th grade students with varying physical and complex learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services in alignment with students' IEP goals.

• Evaluate and monitor motor function, mobility, and physical development.

• Collaborate with educators and related service providers to support access to the school environment.

• Document student progress and maintain compliance with special education regulations.

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on accommodations and adaptive strategies.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.

• Physical Therapy license in the state of Washington.

• Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification in the state of Washington.

• Previous experience in a school setting preferred.

• Strong communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills.
