We’re currently seeking an Occupational Therapist for a school-based position in McDonough County, IL. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity running from November 12, 2025, through May 29, 2026.

This role is ideal for therapists who are passionate about supporting students’ functional, motor, and sensory needs to help them succeed in the classroom and beyond.

Position Details:

• Location: McDonough County, IL (in-person)
• Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Coverage: November 12, 2025 – May 29, 2026
• Student Age/Grade: K–2

Responsibilities:

• Provide school-based occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals and objectives.

• Assess and document students’ fine motor, visual-motor, and sensory processing skills.

• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to integrate OT strategies into the classroom environment.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance student participation and independence in daily school activities.

• Communicate progress and recommendations to parents, guardians, and the multidisciplinary team.

• Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and school-wide initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) License.

• Experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting.

• Strong understanding of sensory integration, fine motor development, and adaptive strategies for learning environments.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

• Dedication to supporting students’ growth, confidence, and independence.
