We're hiring a compassionate and experienced Paraprofessional to support students in a school-based setting in Adams/Arapahoe County, CO. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact by working directly with students and collaborating with a dedicated classroom team.

Location: Adams/Arapahoe County
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday
Duration: 25/26 school year: 8/2/25-5/29/26

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to students in a special education classes.
• Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of certified staff
• Assist students in developing academic, social, and daily living skills
• Track and record student data and progress toward goals
• Support classroom management and maintain a structured, supportive environment
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, BCBA, and related service providers
• Assist with transitions between activities and classes
• Foster student independence and reinforce positive behavior
• Help students stay engaged, on-task, and safe throughout the day

Qualifications

• Previous experience with Para Professional required
• Possess an associate degree or higher
• Complete at least two years of study (equivalent to 48 credit hours) at an accredited institution of higher education
• Demonstrate subject matter competency by passing a formal assessment measuring knowledge and ability to assist in reading, writing, and mathematics instruction. (example ETS ParaPro or ACT WordKeys Assessment)
